The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus will host its 14th annual parade on Saturday, February 1, 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m. The theme for 2025 is “Chewbacchus XIV: Rise of the Superb Owl,” and the krewe will once again blend creativity, satire, and fandom culture for a cosmic celebration in the streets of New Orleans.

Leading the parade as Queen of Darkness is Meghan Davis, an artist and captain of the Vampiric Council of New Orleans. She’s been a part of the krewe since 2014 and has contributed to many subkrewes, inspiring creative works throughout Chewbacchus.

The parade begins at Franklin and St. Claude Avenue, follows Elysian Fields to Decatur Street, and ends at Decatur and Conti. Attendees can expect a variety of unique throws, including collectible bandoliers.

The night wraps up with the Chewbacchanal Afterparty at The Fillmore, featuring live music, DJs, and entertainment. VIP and limited public tickets will be available.
