The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus hosted its twelfth annual parade on Saturday, January 28, 2023, starting at Franklin and St. Claude and paraded through the Bywater, Marigny, and Vieux Carré. The 2023 theme for the parade was “LET THE WOOKIEE WIN!”.

The public was also invited to join the krewe at its official after party, THE CHEWBACCHANAL, at the Fillmore New Orleans, with musical entertainment provided by GOLDEN DAWN ARKESTRA, PEOPLE MUSEUM, and DJ BOUFFANT BOUFFANT, with BABY BATS and DJ NOTHING exclusively in VIP.
