The Cult of the Sacred Drunken Wookiee

The Cult of the Sacred Drunken Wookiee is the satirical religion at the heart of the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus. Founded in 2015 as the religious arm of the Krewe’s 501(c)(3) charitable mission, it celebrates a timeless form of divine revelry through annual parade rituals in which the blessings of the Sacred Drunken Wookiee are dispensed to the streets of New Orleans.

The Cult is, technically, what the Krewe is when not parading. It maintains a roster of Holy Beings, ordains members as ministers, recognises exceptional service through the Golden Wookiee Awards, and answers to a small body of Overlords who run the larger enterprise.
